Winter is the perfect opportunity to whip out home-cooked favourites with a deliciously gourmet edge, and our new Winter Menu is centred around seasonal fresh produce that warms your soul. 

Every ingredient on our menu has been considered for flavour and sustainability, bringing together local purveyors and tastemakers to showcase Melbourne’s impressive culinary scene.

Winter Warmers 

This winter, we’re serving up ingredients that are in season and sourced locally wherever possible. Living true to our values, we create dishes from scratch in our kitchen, using ingredients from our on-site kitchen garden where we can. 

Our Winter Menu is a feast for the senses, offering a variety of delicious dishes with something for everyone. From Dry Aged Duck sourced from Great Ocean Ducks in Port Campbell to Fire Roasted Eggplant grown in Bendigo, our food brings together the best of Victoria in a mindful manner. 

The menu offers a diverse selection, allowing you to choose a menu tailored to your event and guests, including:

  • Humpty Doo Barramundi Fillet w/ cherry tomato, basil, salsa verde  
  • Crispy Skin Huon Salmon w/ confit shallots, Thai herbs, tamarind dressing  
  • Slow Roasted Chicken w/ grilled green onion, pepper sauce  
  • Dry Aged Duck w/ roasted vegetables, mandarin and anise glaze 
  • Slow Cooked Wagyu Beef Ribs w/ potato puree, chimichurri dressing  
  • Fire Roasted Globe Eggplant w/ braised sugarloaf cabbage, miso glaze 

Refreshment Delights 

Not every event requires a full menu, so for the times when you need nibbles, our refreshment and canape menu delivers. 

For cold refreshments, you’ll find a selection of sweet and savoury goodies that are baked on-site. Some of our favourites include winter vegetable Quiche Lorraine, finger crab and prawn sandwiches, pear and cinnamon amandines and sugar glazed mini donuts.

Warm refreshment options include chorizo and blue cheese toast, spinach and ricotta parcels and sticky date teacakes. 

If you love canapes, our Winter Menu brings together classic combinations like smoked salmon and watercress, prawn and coriander, and lamb and feta. With options like cheesy chicken and chipotle taquitos and caramelised onion, goat’s cheese and thyme pizzettas, you’ll find something for everyone. 


Sustainability is important to us at CENTREPIECE, so we’ve gone above and beyond to ensure this menu prioritises local ingredients and a Victorian-first approach.  

As Melbourne’s hub of collaboration and connection, we serve our fair share of meals. To do this ethically, we’ve poured over every detail of the supply chain to limit food miles and work with nature. Our menu is full of traceable ingredients that are clean, both in terms of health and their impact on our planet.  

We limit our footprint by making the most of the whole animal in our menu, harvesting rainwater for irrigation, and treating our food waste organically.
