CENTREPIECE has always supported local at every opportunity, which is why we’re proudly ‘Victorian First’ when it comes to selecting our suppliers and curating our locally sourced menu. From January 2024, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be offering exclusively Victorian drinks in our beverage packages.
Championing local doesn’t just make sense in Victoria; it makes for a fresher, richer and higher quality event experience.
Our state is home to some of the most celebrated wine regions in the country. The unique diversity of soils and climates creates a high-quality drop. From the cool climate Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon found in the Yarra Valley and Mornington regions to Heathcote’s Shiraz and the Riverina’s renowned dessert wines. Not to mention our world-class ‘Prosecco Road’ in the King Valley.
This is in addition to the thriving state-wide craft beer scene, which has grown to over 150 breweries throughout Victoria.
Come the new year, we’re excited to be reflecting this incredible local quality in our two new beverage packages. Each one is a celebration of the artisan wine and craft beer our state is acclaimed for, in addition to the premium non-alcoholic options guests always reach for.
Introducing our new local drops
In partnership with The Wine Co, we’re pleased to welcome three new wines to the refreshed CENTREPIECE beverage offering courtesy of McPherson Wines, an independent, family-owned Nagambie estate.
These wines join an already impressive selection of Victorian labels that include St Andrews Beach Brewery, Mitchelton, La La Land, Yering Station, Brown Brothers and Naked Life to round out our 2024 ‘Victorian First’ wine offering.
Bella Luna Prosecco
Boasting a 4 Star Halliday Rating, Bella Luna Prosecco presents a delightful addition to our first drinks package. With notes of apple, pear, lemons and soft, delicate bubbles, this is a drop that adds a fizzing touch of celebration to every event.
MWC Pinot Gris
Providing aromatic nuances of pear, lychee and exotic spice on the nose, this easy-drinking Pinot Gris beautifully complements our fresh, seasonal menus, bringing a soft, savoury, earthy style to your glass that deliciously accentuates what’s on your plate.
Three Vineyards Shiraz
This luscious Shiraz gets its name from McPherson’s winemaker, Jo Nash, who reserves grapes from the three best-producing vineyards each vintage to make this blend. Providing a palate of delicious ripe blackberries, plums and a hint of spice, it represents the very best of each harvest, together creating a beautiful and balanced wine.
Savour a taste of Victoria in our new drinks packages
When it comes to catering your event, you have two local package options – Classic Victoria or Victoria’s Finest.
Victoria Classic includes all three of our new local drops – Bella Luna Prosecco, MWC Pinot Gris and Three Vineyards Shiraz – in addition to a selection of hand-crafted St Andrews Beach Brewing ales and non-alcoholic options. It’s a more elevated introductory package that ensures you’re never compromising on quality, regardless of budget.
For a step up we’ve created the Victoria’s Finest package. Victoria’s Finest introduces some of Victoria’s most celebrated wine labels, including Mitchelton, La La Land, Yering Station and Brown Brothers. These best-in-class drops are complemented by a premium local selection of beers, ciders, seltzers, soft drinks and ample high-end non-alcoholic options.
