CENTREPIECE brings Victorian wine country to the heart of Melbourne

Australia’s newest conference and events venue, CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park, has announced supply agreements with Brown Brothers and Mitchelton Wines, two of Australia’s most eminent wineries.

“Partnering with brands who have a rich local heritage is a key pillar of our values and Victoria-first focus,” said CENTREPIECE Sales Manager Laura Reddaway.

“Mitchelton and Brown Brothers Wines are experts in what they do and renowned not only in Victoria but throughout Australia and globally. In addition to producing fantastic wines, they curate outstanding hospitality experiences and we look forward to serving their quality wines to our guests.”

A 132-year-old family-owned-and-operated winery based in Victoria’s north-east, Brown Brothers prides itself on making high-quality wines crafted for people to enjoy, whilst actively contributing with communities it is intertwined with.

With all of its production done on-site in Milawa, Victoria, it employs over 200 Victorians.

“CENTREPIECE is a partner we’re extremely excited to work with into the future as we support local Victorian businesses and consumers,” says Brown Family Wine Group Marketing Manager, Emma Brown.

“We share a strong philosophy in sustainability and remain focused on leaving our land in a better state for the generations to come. What’s more, our mutual focus on quality goes beyond the products we make; it’s about overall customer experience.”

Just 90 minutes from Melbourne, with a history dating back to 1836, Mitchelton Wines also boasts a winemaking team known for bringing out the unique regional characters in their award-winning selection of estate-grown varieties.

Proud to be a 100% Victorian brand and drive mass regional awareness, Mitchelton Wines is passionate about supporting its local community, farmers and growers.

Recognising the significance of the Goulburn River and its role in sourcing their produce, the Halliday Wine Companion five-star winery honours this by employing and supporting over 190 local individuals across Mitchelton and associated business ventures.

“We are hugely aligned with CENTREPIECE and their unique philosophy around the dining experience, so we are excited to partner up and create seamless and memorable experiences that are both innovative and considered,” said Mitchelton Sales Manager, Ramon Taylor.

“It’s also a wonderful recognition of our wines that we are obviously very proud of, with our wines the perfect match for a venue which celebrates all the things that we love about Melbourne; great art, cuisine, culture & entertainment. It’s a place where people love good food and great wine.”

CENTERPIECE’s wine list is complemented by a Victorian-first selection from distributors Joval Wine Group and The Wine Company, including wines from La La Land, Tahbilk Winery and Motley Cru.
