CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park and Kia Arena up for Victorian Architecture Awards

Melbourne & Olympic Parks’ newest venues, CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park and Kia Arena, have been shortlisted for the 2022 Victorian Architecture Awards.

Both venues were designed by NH Architecture, who worked in partnership with RWA Sports Architecture on the design for Kia Arena.

Blending form and function to create an unparalleled experience for guests, CENTREPIECE and Kia Arena were delivered during the third stage of the Victorian Government’s Melbourne Park Redevelopment, which has helped secure the precinct’s place as Australia’s home of live events.

Both venues have been nominated in the Public Architecture category, while Kia Arena is also up for the Melbourne Prize, which is awarded to a project that has made a significant contribution to the civic life of Melbourne.

The winners will be announced on 17 June.
