Australian Open 2026:
What to Expect at Centrepiece
Melbourne Park is thrilled to welcome back the Australian Open, with preparations beginning in October 2025 and bump-out concluding in March 2026.
During this busy period, there will be changes to access and movement across Melbourne Park as we host events. While the bump-in for the Australian Open is exciting, it may impact access and space availability throughout Melbourne Park, including, but not limited to:
- Activation of open-air car parks
- Use of open-air areas for event purposes
- Altered access points to Melbourne Park, with changes to pathways and roadways
We are dedicated to minimising any disruption to your event, introducing the following complimentary value adds to enhance your guests’ experience during the Australian Open 2026 bump-in and out periods:
- A dedicated buggy shuttle (seating up to five guests) for arrivals and departures
- A wayfinding team member positioned at your primary guest arrival point
- Customisable digital signage featuring your event branding, strategically placed across the precinct in consultation with your Event Planner
- Additional directional signage on fencing around build zones to guide guests to Centrepiece
To help us effectively support your event, please discuss with your Event Planner any early insights into guest arrival plans, bus or parking requirements, and accessibility needs.
