From dazzling terraces with soaring city skyline views to the Grand Hall which can host up to 2,400 guests, CENTREPIECE is full of surprising corners and open spaces that are sure to delight.
Grand Hall
Perhaps most surprising of all our spaces, the Grand Hall offers close to 2,000 square metres of flexible event space.
It comfortably accommodates up to 1,430 guests in a banquet setting and over 2,000 in theatre-style seating or a cocktail setting, allowing a huge number of guests to dine together.
The Grand Hall has eight-metre-high ceilings and state-of-the-art rigging capability, meaning clients are able to achieve stunning entertainment and design effects.
Auditorium
The Auditorium is one of the most-loved spaces for keynote presentations, breakouts, performances and small conferences.
With 250 tiered seats and a generous stage area, the Auditorium is a great space for panel conversations, large AV presentations and broadcast events.
One of the Auditorium’s most unique features is its five-metre-high ceilings which add to the room’s generous footprint and acoustics. With inbuilt tables and power sockets at your seat, you’ll ensure guests are comfortable and productive.
Meeting Rooms & Studios
Our Meeting Rooms & Studios can be scaled up or down to suit a range of uses, from broadcast purposes for the Australian Open to breakout spaces at conferences.
They’re equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment, making it easy to live-stream meetings and host online events.
Guests appreciate the stunning open-air balconies closeby to the studios that overlook the precinct. During longer meetings or day-long catch-ups, your guests can gain access to fresh air and stunning views at any point.
Terraces
Often forgotten until people step out onto them, our outdoor Terraces are some of CENTREPIECE’s most surprising and exciting spaces.
These sunshine-facing terraces offer an elevated space from which to sip a cocktail, wine or beer with colleagues and friends. Dining options on our terraces are a popular option in the summer months, with a full menu available.
The best part? These outdoor spaces give you fresh air and breaktaking views, without having to brave the unreliability of Melbourne weather. They’re undercover and heated, so you can focus on enjoying the event with the Melbourne city skyline as your backdrop.
Pre-Function
Our Pre-Function area is loved by guests as it allows some added breathing room to mingle prior to entering an official event space.
Perfect as a precursor to an event in the Grand Hall or Auditorium, or as a standalone space for smaller events, the Pre-Function area is furnished with a range of cocktail and lounge furniture that’s adorned with natural light.
You’ll find this area easily accessible upon entering the venue, and great as a meeting point, breakout space, exhibition area and more.
Part of something bigger
As well as having many hidden and unique spaces, CENTREPIECE is part of the larger Melbourne & Olympic Parks precinct. The venue rubs shoulders with the giants of elite sports and entertainment at Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, John Cain Arena, AAMI Park and Kia Arena.
Located on the same central precinct, CENTREPIECE is surrounded by natural space, beautifully kept gardens and incredible stadia that form the basis of Australia’s heart of sports and entertainment.
