CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park set for AO2022

CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park will be activated for the first time when the precinct comes to life for the Australian Open 2022.

Designed with flexibility in mind, as well as for the Australian Open, the venue’s three levels will each host vastly different experiences across the fortnight.

The 2,000 square metre Grand Hall will be transformed for premium dining and hospitality experiences for guests, including the exclusive Founder’s Club and Penfolds Bistro & Restaurant, while the ground floor café will house both public and premium offerings, including the iconic Rockpool Bar & Grill.

Level 3 will act as the media hub for the first Grand Slam of the year, housing all local and international media, as well as the various networks from around the globe, which are set to showcase the venue’s cutting-edge broadcast facilities for the first time.

The stunning 250-seat Auditorium will act as the main press conference room for the tournament, with this space featuring a striking blue palette reminiscent of the courts at Melbourne Park.

Additionally, the Pre-Function Area, Outdoor Terraces and other Meeting Rooms & Studios within the venue will house off-court interviews and events for players, VIPs and clients.

While the Australian Open has been a core inspiration for the construction of CENTREPIECE, the venue has also been designed with your event in mind.
